"The World Stands Open" - Description
New documentary series composed of 12 episodes, produced for TV Polonia about Poles living outside Poland. People shown in the individual episodes are representing various professions. They left their home country to find interesting job and fulfil their dreams abroad. They opened to the world, guided towards it, who simultaneously have kept the "Polish madness". They talk about their road to success but also about their failures. The portrait of each of them presents also the picture of the country, where they live and work. The series emerging since beginning March, pursues to break through stereotypical images of Poles working abroad.
The series was aired twice on TV Polonia in 2007.
