"Long-distance Runner" - Description
The hero of the film - the retired miner from Silesia - has already run over 80 thousand kilometres. In fact he begins to circle the world for the third time. He practices a rare sporting discipline that is little known in Poland – ultra-marathon. During two days of ceaseless running he is able to run 378 km - that is for example distance from Bielsko Biała to Warsaw. What for him is a daily routine, for an ordinary mortal would be impossibility and madness. His achievements are impressive: III place in the 48-hour run world championship and II in the 24-hour run European championship. Despite this he remains practically unknown.
