"The First Day" at the DOCPOLSKA Festival in Paris

DOCPOLSKA was a review of the best Polish documentary films from the last three years which took place in Paris (Reflet Médicis Cinema). The screenings took place on Tuesdays between the 14th of October till the 4th of November 2008. "The First Day" directed by Marcin Sauter founded itself among 7 films presented as part of the event. Between the 27.10-1.11.2008 the Fano International Film Festiwal took place for the 20th time in the city of Fano in Italy. Rafał Skalski's film "52 Percent" has received the first prize in the "Video Digitale" category. Short and medium length films took part in the festival.

Times BFI London Film Festival was an event which took place for the 52nd time this year. Rafał Skalski’s film "52 Percent" was presented at the festival. This years edition took place 15-30 October 2008. Feature, documentary and animated films from around the world took part in the event.

"Kites" at a Festival in Czech Republic

Between the 24-29 of October the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic took place in the town of Jihlava. Beata Dzianowicz's film "Kites" took part in the "Between the Seas" competition which presents films from Central Europe. "Kites" was shown 28th October at 2:00 PM.

The Polish Embassy in Finland and the Societies Union Finland-Poland organizeda review of the newest polish cinematography productions, where Rafał Skalski’s film "52 Percent" was presented.
