"The First Day" in Ursynów

On Saturday the 17th of May in Warsaw’s Ursynów, the screening of films awarded at the IX International Documentary Film Days in Lublin took place. Marcin Sauter’s film "The First Day" has received the "Grand Prix" in Lublin in the short film category. The screening started at 6:00 PM, in the Art House on Wiolinowa 14 street (Ursynów metro station) in Warsaw. There was also a meeting with Marcin Sauter.

Between the 2-11 of May 2008 at the 5th edition of Documenta Madrid Documentary Film Festival Krzysztof Kopczyński’s film "Stone Silence" took part in the Documentary Reporting competition. This section was intended for those documentary films whose point of view was either of an informative nature or about current events in our world.

"Stone Silence" in Uganda

For the second time this year Krzysztof Kopczyński’s film "Stone Silence" was shown to audience in Africa. This time the film took part in the 5th edition of The Amakula Kampala International Film festival. The event took place in the city of Kampala – Uganda’s capital, between the 1-11 of May.

"52 Percent" and "The First Day" awarded in Hungary

Films produced by Eureka Media have been awarded at the 2008 Mediawave festival, which took place in the town of Győr in Hungary. The documentary "52 Percent" directed by Rafał Skalski has received the "Special Mention" Award, and Marcin Sauter’s film "The First Day", "The KPMG Responsible Society Award". The MEDIAWAVE'2008 International Film and Music Festival has taken place between the 25th of April till the 3rd of May 2008.

Krzysztof Kopczyński at the “KoprodUKcja” seminar in London.

On the 28th of April Krzysztof Kopczyński has taken part in the seminar of Polish and British film producers “KoprodUKcja” in London. The seminar was professionally organized by the Polish Cultural Institute in London with the cooperation of the Polish Film Institute in the BAFTA headquarters . For the first time such an event has been organized on such a large scale involving producers from both countries and has been an attempt to exchange experience and to establish contacts.
