Between the 15-22 of June The XVIII "Message To Man" International Documentary, Short and Animated Films Festiwal in St. Petersburg took place. Rafał Skalski's film "52 Percent" took part in the International Competition.

Rafał Skalski’s documentary "52 percent" took part in the 10th edition of the Mo&Friese Children's Short Film Festival, which was part of the 24th International Short Film Festival in Hamburg. The "Mo&Friese" festival took place between the 1-8 of June 2008. Its goal was to present short films to children and young public.

The documentary film "Stone Silence", directed by Krzysztof Kopczyński, which took part in the National Competition of the 48th Krakow Film Festival, has been awarded a Honorary Diploma "for showing in an impressive way the drama of a defenseless individual in an oppressive society".
