The "Towards Poland" series emitted in TVP Polonia »

On the 9th of September 2008, at 9:36 PM TVP Polonia began the emission of the documentary series "Towards Poland". Jacek Knopp is the director and cinematographer of the series, the script writer of the whole series is Krzysztof Kopczyński and the script writer of individual episodes - Jerzy Domagała.

The Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries is a pitching for documentary projects that might interest international audience. This year the forum took place between the 3-7 of September in Riga, Latvia. Eureka Media's news project "My Friend the Terrorist" was presented at the pitching. During the forum there will also be a screening of Krzysztof Kopczyński's film "Stone Silence".
"52 Percent" awarded at the Concorto Film Festival

Rafał Skalski's documentary film "52 Percent" has received the Special mention of the Program Direction at the Concorto Film Festival 2008. The festival took place between the 27-31 August 2008 in the town of Pontenure in Italy.

"52 Percent" at the Fresh Film Fest in Karlovy Vary

Between the 27-31 of August 2008 for the 5th time the International Student Film Festival Fresh Film Fest in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) took place. Rafal Skalski's film "52 Percent" has been invited to take part in the event. It was presented in the "Panorama" section which was a screening outside of the competition where films of film school students from the whole world are shown.

"Kites" Awarded in Locarno »

Director Beata Dzianowicz and producer Krzysztof Kopczyński have received the Critic’s Week Award (Le Prix SRG SSR idee Suisse/Semaine de la Critique) for the film "Kites" at the 61st Locarno International Film Festival which ended on the 16th of August 2008. It is the main prize awarded in the international competition of full-length documentaries of the festival "Critic’s Week" organized by Switzerland’s national association of film journalists and the most important award this year for a documentary film at the festival. "Kites" have been watched at two screenings by at least 800 people. A large part of them took part in a discussion with the director and the producer of the film.
