The International Film Festival & Forum Open Frame took place in New Delhi (India). This years edition took place between the 12-20 of September 2008. Krzysztof Kopczynski’s film "Stone Silence" was screened at the festival. This year the festival focused on issues related to conflict ranging from the political to the personal.

On Saturday the 29th of September 2008 the II Development Co-operation Forum took place in Warsaw on the Krakowskie Przedmieście street (on the segment of Królewska street and Ossolińskich street). As part of this event Beata Dzianowicz’s film "Kites" was shown at 12:00 AM in the Rejs Cinema Theatre. The entrance was free.

Special Mention for "Borovichok" at the "You and Me" Festival in Koszalin

The film "Borovichok" directed by Siergiej Łukianczikov has received a special mention at the 5th "You and Me" European Film Festival. The jury awarded the prize for "a poetic picture of a disabled child's homecoming, where a lot of things are missing, but not love.". The festival took place between the 10-13 of September 2008 in Koszalin.

"Borovichok" and "The Other" in Koszalin

The 5th European Film Festival "You and Me" will took place in Koszalin between the 10-13 of September. Two films produced by Eureka Media "Borovichok" directed by Siergiej Lukianczikow and "Obcey (Other)" directed by Iwona Siekierzyńska were presented there. During the Festival it was possible to see the oeuvre of the disabled, but most importantly there was many screenings of films concerning the disabled, their lives and problems.
