"Borovichok" and "Kites" at the "Human in Danger" Festival

Between the 19-22 of November 2008 the XVIII "Human in Danger" Festival took place in Łódź. "Kites" (dir. Beata Dzianowicz) and "Borovichok" (dir. Siergiej Łukianczikow) took part in the competition review . Both films were shown on Wednesday on the 19th of November (Cinematography Museum, cinema screening room) – "Borovichok" at 10:00 AM and "Kites" at 12:10 AM. The festival concentrates on documentary creativity concerning the broadly understood endangered human and his environment.

Between the 14-22 of November 2008 the 15th edition of "l'Alternativa - Barcelona Independent Film Festival" took place in Barcelona. Marcin Sauter's film "The First Day" took part in the festival. During the 13th edition of this event "The Seeds" directed by Wojciech Kasperski have received a Special Mention in the documentary film category.

Film screenings of the "Russia-Poland. New Gaze" project in Czersk

DKF "Raczek" in Czersk organized a screening of films made under the "Russia-Poland. New Gaze" project. The screening took place on the 21st of November 2008. The following films were shown: "A Folk Tale", "Moscow Wife", "My Kieslowski", "The Seeds", "52 Percent", "The Sacred" and "6 Bielinskiego Street". Monika Filipowicz, Barbara Białowąs and Agnieszka Janowska were the guests of the screenings.

"Kites" at the NURT 2008 Review

Beata Dzianowicz's film "Kites" took place in the competition screenings at the XIV All-Polish Independent Documentary Form Review NURT 2008. "Kites" was screened during the VI competition screening on the 19th of November (Wednesday) between 12:00 A.M. and 14:00 P.M. The whole event took place between the 17-21 of November in the Kielce Cultural Center.

"The Seeds" Presented During the Polish Art Saloon "Meet Changes 2008"

The Association of Polish Artist and Designers organized the Polish Art Saloon "Meet Changes 2008" between the 4-12.12.2008 in Poznan, which was part of the V Art and Artistic Articles Festival. Wojciech Kasperski’s film "The Seeds" was presented there. The event took place together with the XIV United Nations Conference concerning Climate Changes, so the film was also presented to the conference participants.
