"The Seeds"
"Aspekty" Visual Anthropology Festival in Toruń

"Aspekty" the Visual Anthropology Festival is an annual event concentrating on the subject of anthropology, taking place in Torun. Three films produced by Eureka Media were shown there: "Kites", "The First Day" and "The Seeds". This years second edition took place between the 28-30 of November. The films were accompanied by discussions and events such us exhibitions, workshops and concerts.

The Film Art Center (Centrum Sztuki Filmowej) in Katowice is organizing a film screening series entitled "Video Now". The 13th part of the series was devoted to Joanna Rajkowska. The film "Maja Gordon goes to Chorzow" was part of the program. The screening took place on the 27th of November at 6:00 PM at the Film Art Center at Sokolskiej 66 street in Katowice.

"Kites" Awarded at the "Human in Danger" Media Festival in Łódź

Beata Dzianowicz’s documentary "Kites" has received the "Łódź Art Center" award at the XVIII "Human in Danger" Media Festival in Łódź. The festival took place between the 19-22 of November. 31 films and 13 radio broadcast took part in the event.

"Sputnik Above Warsaw" is a festival of Russian films which took place between the 14-23 of November 2008 in Warsaw’s Kinoteka Cinema Theatre. Films made under the "Russia-Poland. New Gaze" project were shown there. Rafał Skalski’s "52 Percent", Wojciech Kasperski’s "The Seeds", Marcin Sauter’s "The First Day" and Barabara Białowąs’s "Moscow Wife". The films were shown in one film block on the 15.11.2008 at 4:00 P.M. in screening room nr. 3.

Krzysztof Kopczynski’s documentary film "Stone Silence" was officially selected for the RIDM (Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal) festival program in Montreal (Canada). This years 11th edition of the festival took place between the 13-23 of November 2008.
