"The First Day" and "Kites" in ViBGYOR festival in India

"The First Day" (by Marcin Sauter) and "Kites" (by Beata Dzianowicz) took part in 4th edition of ViBGYOR Film Festival for Short & Documentary Films. The event took place in India in Thrissur (Kerala state) for 4th to 8th of February 2009.

"Kites" in Goteborg

Beata Dzianowicz’s "Kites" took part in the 32nd edition of the Goteborg International Film Festival which took place in Goteborg (Sweden) between the 23 of January and the 2nd of February 2009. The event is the biggest film festival in Scandinavia.

Eureka Media at Berlinale film market

In February we are taking part in the co-production meetings organized by the European Media Development programme on the occasion of the 59th International Film Festival Berlin. German Media Desk invites independent producers who have recently received financing under the Slate Funding priority. Eureka Media will be the only company representing Poland in the group of approximately 30 producers from all over Europe. One-to-one meetings give opportunity to introduce one or more of the projects to potential co-producers, in order to make business contacts or to share one's slate with other producers.

Our new documentary project has been qualified into the group of projects which are going to be presented at the DocsBarcelona pitching session in late January. 35 countries with 165 projects applied, out of which 24 most interesting and giving hopes to be successfully realized were chosen.

In Channel 1 of the Polish Public Television a new series of programs "Document’s Millenium" has started. As part of this series on January 6, 2009 at 10.58 PM Krzysztof Kopczyński’s film "Stone Silence" was presented.
