"Russia-Poland. New gaze" at Kino Most, Warsaw

Ja Wisła Foundation was organized screening of films realized under the "Russia-Poland. New gaze" project by Eureka Media and Adam Mickiewicz Institute. You had an opportunity to see well known and numerously awarded "52 Percent" by Rafał Skalski, "The Suburban Train" by Maciej Cuske, "The Seeds" by Wojciech Kasperski and "7 x Moscow" by Piotr Stasik. The event started on May 15th at 9 pm in the exotic surrounding of Port Czerniakowski (Czerniakowski harbour).

From 5th to 10th of May 5th edition of Annual New York Polish film Festival took place. Documentary movie "Kites" directed by Beata Dzianowicz was screened on the festival. The screening took place on 9th of May at 10 p.m.

"Kites" in Brussels

"Kites" directed by Beata Dzianowicz was shown on the event connected with a bohemian film festival One World. This time, the best movies from the festival was presented in Brussels, due to the leadership of Czech Republic in EU in 2009. The screenings lasted from 27th of April to 4th of May 2009. "Kites" were shown on Tuesday, the 28th of April at 8 p.m. in Berlaymont Cinema Room.

"Kites" awarded at "Crossroads of Europe"

One of our latest documentaries "Kites" (dir. Beata Dzianowicz) got 2nd prize at the 10th International Film Festival "Crossroads of Europe" which took place in Lublin in the last days of April. The jury headed by Marcel Łoziński awarded "Kites" for a "moving attempt to teach us how to deeply and subtly observe the world".
