"The Forest" in Argentina

"The Forest" by Piotr Dumała was shown three times during the BAFICI film festival in Argentina. The festival was born in 1999 in Buenos Aires. The main aim of the event is to promote independent cinema and focus on innovative and unconventional films. This year 280 thousands people took part in an event. 12th edition of the festival took place from 7th to 18th of April.

"The Forest" by Piotr Dumała will be shown during 24th Tarnow Film Award (Tarnowska Nagroda Filmowa). It is a festival of chosen Polish feature films. The event will take place from 9th to 16th of May 2010. "The Forest" will be screened in Extra Films section on Wednesday 12th of May.

"Kites" by Beata Dzianowicz was nominated to Anasy Documentary Awards in Children’s Rights Competition. Main goals of the event and awards itself are to enriching the documentary film market, support documentary filmmakers, present their movies to the audience and honoring pioneers of documentary film from around the world. The festival will take place from 25th to 28th of April 2010 in Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates. From this year UNICEF cooperates with Anasy Documentary Awards.

"Kites" directed by Beata Dzianowicz was screened on One World Documentary Film Festival in Romania. The event took place in Bucharest from 17th to 22nd of March 2010. The One World is the biggest film festival that concentrate on human rights. The festival started in Prague in 1999, as an initiative of Vaclav Havel, and during the past 10 years expended in other cities like Brussels, Madrid, New York or Kiev.

"Kites" by Beata Dzianowicz has been selected to the main competition on the 6th Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival. The festival will take place in Doha, the capital of Quatar, from 19th till 22nd of April 2010.
