"The Forest" by Piotr Dumała was shown during the film festival Cinema on the Border (Kino na Granicy) in Cieszyn. The screening was a part of the retrospective of Adam Sikora, cinematographer and the author of the photos of ,,The Forest”. The festival took place from 28th of April to 3rd of May. It was 12th edition of the festival.

"The First Day" by Marcin Sauter was shown at Trento Film Festival in Italy. It is one of the oldest and one of the most important mountain and travel film festival. The movie was qualified for EURORAMA section, which presents films appreciated at various etnographic film festivals in recent years.

"Kites" by Beata Dzianowicz was awarded on Anasy Documentary Award in Abu Dhabi. The movie received second award for the Best Movie. Anasy Award is considered to be the most important festival in Arab World that specialize in documentary films. Its main aim is to promote and honor documentary filmmakers. This year 250 movies from 21 countries were screened in Abu Dhabi.

WorldFest is the oldest independent film and video festival. In1968 it evolved into international film festival.
