Eureka Media at East European Forum

The East European forum has just begun in Jihlava! It is the region's largest meeting of East European documentary filmmakers with Europe's and North America´s leading commissioning editors, distributors, buyers and film fund representatives. Directors and independent producers offer their projects for co-production, pre-sale or other forms of financial support. This year Eureka Media is represented by Aleksandra Derewienko (production manager) and Lidia Duda (director).

We encourage you to read the latest issue of "FilmPro", where the article of Zofia Wydra appeard. It is a summary of Ex Oriente workshops, which took place in Warsaw, at the turn of June and July. The workshops are adressed to the directors and producers. During this session participants focused on general aspects of documentary film production as well as on planning market strategy. Eureka Media was co-producer of the workshops.

"The Forest" at the International Film Festival in Kaunas

"The Forest" by Piotr Dumała was screened during the Kaunas International Film Festival, which is one of the most important film festival in Lithuania. During this year edition viewers had a chance to see all Piotr Dumała's movies, since the retrospective of his work was organized. "The Forest", produced by Eureka Media, was presented among them.
30 years of Student Council at the University of Warsaw

Krzysztof Kopczyński took part in the conference, which was organized within celebrations of 30th anniversary of Student Council at the University of Warsaw, as well as he appeard in the movie about it. Krzysztof Kopczyński was a president of Student Council in 1980 and 1981. He was also a member of editing college of independent students monthly "Free voice".
Krzysztof Kamyszew awarded for his deserts for Poland and Poles abroad

Krzysztof Kamyszew, the organizer of Polish Film Festival in Chicago as well many other events promoting polish culture abroad received the prize of Polonia TV according to his deserts fo Poland and Poles abroad. Congratulations!
