Polish Film Festival in America is considered the world's most comprehensive annual review of Polish film.

Film of Beata Dzianowicz "Kites" were screened during the international conference, ogranized in co-operation with Internationa Film Festival NAFA, which took place in Moesgård Museum. During the symposium participants investigated the state of affairs around the following subjects: Children and childhood as represented in media anthropology and museums. Children perceiving and children perceived. They aimed at designing a symposium where mixed-media representations of, by or involving the active participation of children, were in focus within a larger framework of social scientific research and museology.

The next edition of About the Family Film Festival has just started. Krzysztof Kopczynski is a member of a jury in a competition, where 25 movies will be shown. The main issue of non-competitive screenings is "father"- his presence and his meaning in the family relationships. That is why the organizers decided to show "The Forest" by Piotr Dumała during the closing ceremony of the festival
