"Kites" in Romania

A film "Kites" directed by Beata Dzianowicz will be screened on MECEFF - Central European Film Festival in Medias, Romania. The inaugural edition of the MECEFF will take place from 5-11th of September 2011 and will include films from the following countries: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Poland and Slovenia. These countries will be represented in the competition by the winners of their respective National Awards. The rest of the program will focus on films from each of the 7 countries and proposed by the Cultural Institutes of the mentioned countries.

"Planeta Kirsan" at Margaret Mead Film Festival in New York

Eureka Media has been invited to participate at one of the largest and longest-running film festivals for documentaries in the United States, the Margaret Mead Film Festival.  Our latest documentary movie Planet Kirsan, directed by Magdalena Pięta, will be screened at this showcase between 10th and 13th November, 2011.

The 35th anniversary of the Margaret Mead Film Festival will take place at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.  The Festival focuses on films that increase understanding of the complexity and diversity of the peoples and cultures all over the world.

“Planet Kirsan” at the XXI Message to Man IFF

Eureka Media is heading for Russia this time to present Planet Kirsan a film by Magdalena Pięta, at the biggest post Soviet international documentary festival.  The XXI Message to Man International Film Festival will take place from 23rd to 30th September, 2011.
The 21st showcase of the Message 2 Man IFF will be held in Saint-Petersburg.  This festival embraces films from a broad spectrum although it has faith, hope, love, grace and compassion as their core values.Message to Man is the only international documentary, short and animated film festival in the countries of former Soviet Union that is officially registered by the International Federation of Film Producers Association.

A historical documentary film directed by Krzysztof Nowak - Tyszowiecki "A Miracle at Vistula River" will be shown on TVP1 on 4th of August (Thursday) at 3:25 a.m. and on TVP Polonia on 15th of August (Monday) at 5:20 p.m. as well as on 16th of August (Tuesday) at 6:00 a.m.

"Obcey"

Sopot - Street of Art

A recruitment began for the ceramic and art workshops within the framwork of the eight edition of the event Sopot - Street of Art. The main purpose of this event is an integration of disabled people with artistic circles of Sopot, Gdynia and Gdańsk through the art. Volunteers are needed as well. Programme of the event includes meetings with artist, concerts, exhibitions,  performances, happenings. During the event also a movie "Obcey" directed by Iwona Siekierzyńska and produced by Eureka Media will be shown. The workshops will start in July.
