The overview of the New Polish Cinema in Copenhagen Cinemateket will take place between 6th and 29th of October. "The Forest" directed by Piotr Dumała will be screened within the review. Film screenings are planned for 13th and 21st October.

"Planet Kirsan" in Moscow

The Russian premiere of "Planet Kirsan" by Madalena Pięta will take place during the Message to Man International Film Festival in Saint Petersburg on 25th of September. A few days later the film will be shown in Moscow during the Etnographic Festival which will take place from 27-29 of September.

Krzysztof Kopczyński at the BIAFF in Georgia

Dr Krzysztof Kopczyński is speaking at the Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF) in Georgia. He has been invited to advise filmmakers on the financing of films and on the opportunities of co-operation available between the regions. Regional film commissioners, officials and the Batumi city mayor are expected to attend.

Due to 70th anniversary of birthday and 15th anniversary of death of Krzysztof Kieślowski Foundation of Contemporary Art In Situ is organizing a film festival "Hommage à Kieślowski". During the event a movie "My Kieślowski" by Irina Volkova produced by Eureka Media will be screened. The festival will take place in Sokołowsko in Lower Silesia. The screening is planned for 23rd of September at 1.35 p.m. at Biały Orzeł cinema.

"Skylight" in Gdynia

Film "Skylight" by Jacek Knopp will be shown during the third edition of the film festival "Niepokorni, Niezłomni, Wyklęci. Przywracamy pamięć 1944–1989"("Unsubmissive, Unshaken, Excluded. We restore memory 1944- 1989"). The event will take place in Gdynia from 16th to 17th September. The screenings starts at 2 p.m. We kindly invite you for a movie.
