Grand Prix for "Planet Kirsan"

A movie directed by Magdalena Pięta received an award on International Film Festival Human Doc Global Development in Cinema. "Planet Kirsan" got a Grand Prix for the best Polish movie. The Award ceremony took place during the European Days of Development in Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw on 15th of December 2011.

"Planet Kirsan" at WATCH DOCS Film Festival

A movie directed by Magdalena Pięta will be presented on 11th International Film Festival WATCH DOCS Human Rights in Film. The event will take place from 8th to 18th of December. WATCH DOCS Human Rights in Film is one of the oldest and largest human rights film festivals in the world, which annually garners 70 000 viewers in the whole country."Planet Kirsan" will be screened within the frame of the section ''New Polish Movies" on 13th of December at 4.30 p.m. at the Laboratory of Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. We invite you all for a screening.
European Film Awards

Krzysztof Kopczyński participated in the 24th European Film Awards Ceremony and in the European Film Academy General Assembly. Both events took place in Berlin on the 3rd of December.
Screen Leaders EU

Krzysztof Kopczyński and Aleksandra Derewienko have just returned from Prague where they were attending an intensive Screen Leaders EU Training course for development strategies of companies operating on the European film and TV market. This was a training course for production company managers organised by FAS Screen Training Ireland.
Also in attendance were producers and distributors from Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany and Poland. The speakers and lecturers came from Austria, France, Ireland, Germany, the US and the UK. It was the forth session of the trainings that Eureka Media has participated in this year. The other three took place in Dublin and Berlin (twice).
This training course was courtesy of MEDIA EU. We would like to thank the organisers for their invitation and hospitality as well as Fundacja Polskie Centrum Audiowizualne for their unwavering support.

"The White Cobra" for "Planet Kirsan"

"Planet Kirsan" directed by Magdalena Pięta was awarded on the Media Festival "Man in Danger" in Łódź. Our film received Grand Prix "The White Cobra".
"Planet Kirsan" is the last film produced within the "Russia-Poland. New gaze" Project realised by Eureka Media together with Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Polish Film Institute and Polish and Russian film schools. So far the documentary has been presented on the festivals in USA, UK, Russia, New Zealand, Hungary, and Poland.
"The White Cobra" is the 122th award for the film produced by Krzysztof Kopczyński.
