"Russia and Poland. New Gaze" in Gdańsk »

On the 22-23 of November in Gdańsk the II International Independent Film Producers Review took place. The second day of the review was filled with films realized under the I edition of the “Russia-Poland. New Gaze”. Besides the screenings meetings with the makers of the films took place – Barbara Bialowąs ( director of “Moscow Wife”) and Monika Filipowicz (director of “A Folk Tale” ) and the coordinator of the series Agnieszka Janowska.

At the 19th Polish Film Festival in America "The First Day" (dir. Marcin Sauter) has received the main prize in the documentary film category. The festival took place between the 3-18 of November 2007 in Chicago. During the festival more then 60 feature and documentary films have been presented.

On the 14-17 of November 2007 the XVII Media Festival in Łódź “Human in Danger” took place. "52 Percent" (dir. Rafał Skalski) and "The First Day" (dir. Marcin Sauter) were presented as part of the contest. Both films were screened on Wednesday, November 14th at 10:00-12:00 AM.
