"Stone Silence" Awarded at "dokumentART"

"Stone Silence"
The film "Stone Silence" directed by Krzysztof Kopczyński has received the 3rd prize at the 17th edition of the European Film Festival "dokumentART" that finished in the 22nd of October. The festival took place simultaneously in Neubrandenburg in Germany and Szczecin in Poland.
Jury sentence: "This film adresses many social problems - from the situation of the women in Afghanistan to the attitude to truth in a closed society ; the different points of view of the protagonists, their relations in the family and in the village. It is important for us to have a documentary window to other cultures and to try to understand what goes on in countries that are covered so often by the news media."
