About "Stone Silence" and the "Russia-Poland. New Gaze" project in "Gazeta Wyborcza".

"Gazeta Wyborcza" (Polish daily) published an article entitled "Nie ma klimatu dla dokumentu"( There Is No Climate For a Documentary), which is an interview by Tadeusz Sobolewski with Artur Liebhart, a documentary distributor and the chief of the Planete Doc Review festival.

Liebhart notices that Polish documentary films lack themes going beyond Poland, even though Poles are in different ways present and engaged in many parts of the world ( wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the work of the Polish Humanitarian Organization, economic migration). As one of a few exceptions Liebhart mentions Krzysztof Kopczyński’s documentary "Stone Silence", and also the films realized under the "Russia-Poland. New Gaze" project (especially Wojciech Kasperski’s film "The Seeds").
