"Al. Tribute to Albert Maysles" - Description
A short documentary shot especially for an opening gala of 44 Cracow Film Festival (June 2004). Albert Maysles, a co-creator of direct cinema, regarded as one of the most outstanding documentary filmmakers, received the Award of Dragon of Dragons - for his life achievements.
Hanna Polak accompanied Maysles with a camera in New York and on the streets of Cracow, she also interviewed among many others: an outstanding documentary filmmaker Ricky Leacock, a photographer belonging to the group called “Magnum” Bruce Davidson and the main character himself.
