"Constelations" - Description

As a therapist, I stand deeply in the service of reconciliation. Bert Hellinger is one of the most important and controversial personalities in the domain of psychology of our times, and this film would be the first to show his revolutionary "Family Constellations" therapy. The occasion would be Bert Hellinger's visit to Poland in the fall of 2005. We will follow the lives of two families participating in Hellinger's workshop, one from Poland, one from Germany, in historical areas like the city of Gdansk/Dantzig and Dresden in East Germany, with family history linked to the war, like the German “Vertriebene” (Displaced populations). Hellinger’s work is based on coming to terms with our family history and the hidden traumas in it, and the film will also be about the problem of the Polish-German relationship in a new Europe. We will then see the lives of the families after the workshop. Are the in their lives changes provoked by the workshop? Or by those people? Or by life itself? It will be up to the viewer to build his own opinion on Hellinger's work, thanks to this film.

Special Preview of the film "Constellations": on May 25th, 2007 (3:15 pm) at 6 th International Congress for System Constellations in Cologne (Maritim Hotel).
