"52 Percent" at the Russian "Laur" Competition

"Laur" is the most important, annual award in the Russian documentary cinema. This year Rafał Skalski’s film "52 Percent" took part in the competition ( it can take part in the event since it is a film realized in the Russian language). This years edition took place between the 6-11 of November. In year 2006 "The Seeds" have won the award for the "best short authors film".

Rafał Skalski's documentary film "52 Percent" took part in the 8th edition of the Cortopotere Short Film Festival. The festival took place between the 3-9 of November 2008 in Bergamo in northern Italy. "52 Percent" was shown in the international competition.

"Stone Silence" and "The First Day" at the "Ad hoc" Festival in Vilnus

The documentary films "Stone Silence" (dir. Krzysztof Kopczyński) and "The First Day" (dir. Marcin Sauter) took part in the "Ad hoc: inconvenient films" festival which was taking place in Vilnus. The Lithuanian Centre for Human Rights in cooperation with the Polish festival "WatchDocs" organized the event. The festival concentrates on human rights and is the only documentary film review of this kind in Lithuania and the Baltic region. This years edition took place between the 23rd of October and the 9th of November 2008.
