More the 400 people have seen “Stone Silence” on the 4th of May during the screening at the 5th International Film Festival in Amakula Kampala in Uganda and after the screening have discussed with the director of the film. This years festival motto was “parallel universe”. More then 200 films from around the world have been presented at the festival including a big review of African films.

Krzysztof Kopczyński has taken part in this years “Slum Cinema” competition closing ceremony, during which amateur film works of the poorest residents of part of Uganda’s capital were judged. There are also traveling film screenings organized since 2007 as part of “Slum Cinema” in Kenya and Uganda. “Stone Silence” has been invited to these screenings next year.
